Tan-Skinned Beauty

 '
I am happy to announce I found myself my very own model! This handsome fellow is Roberto and he did such a wonderful job and was very cooperative-he managed not to laugh at me as I climbed a ladder and laid in the road to get some of these shots! I hope everyone is as excited as I am to add a new member to "The Penniless Prada Family"!

Betting on Style....

Happy December! This year has really flown by, time needs to slow down! Even though it kills me, I am going to keep this post short because I know a lot of people don't want to read--they just look at the pictures....Jimbo (biggest fan).
Top
My top is actually a long jacket that I tucked in to show off my waist and accented with little stripes. This Aeropostale jacket is versatile and quick! I literally pulled it out of my closet, threw it on, and it ended up working perfectly!
Skirt
My A-line skirt has a dice print plastered all over it, hence my title. I found this skirt on one of my many trips to Goodwill. At the time, I was unsure if I liked it, but its clever pattern and unique fit shapes my body and I love it! This skirt is definitely going to be a frequent piece in my winter wardrobe.
Shoes
While the shoes are not for everyone, I can't help but feel like a million bucks when I "strut my stuff" in them. These colorful wedges are comfy, glamorous, and add that extra "pop" of color that this outfit needed.
 Oversized Leather Jacket
While I would not normally wear a 3X jacket out in public, I will throw it on for a post! This 5 pound jacket is something my grandpa found and gifted to me hoping I could use it in a post. Well I did, this oversized jacket added this barrier between my outfit and the world. The pictures are almost telling a story, when I begin I am completely covered up but as the pictures move on, the jacket is slowly being removed and finally completely out of site. This leather jacket, which originally cost several hundred dollars, was very cheap...lucky for us "Penniless People"!

Because I promised to keep this short, I will quickly say that pantyhose/leggings are a "must" for winter! Show your style off by pairing that skirt with classic black pantyhoes or a bright legging. Winter is your time to layer up, cover up, and style it up!
